Welcome to my blog. I am Mary Margaret Dick, a veteran freelance writer whose job is to optimally communicate your business assets in the marketplace. Be it through a business plan, website content, marketing communications tool, resume or other writing, my goal is to help you stand apart from the crowd.

Perhaps you’ve heard of the right-brain, left-brain theory? I’m both. My right brain kicks in when creativity is needed; my left brain goes to work when the job calls for analytical thinking. Being a left-handed person in a right-handed world may have something to do with it. Regardless, I’ve found my “ambidextrous” brain to be a real asset to my clients.

My “plan” for my blog goes something like this: I will select one type of business/marketing tool, talk about its objectives, when and where to use it and such. Then I will give you tips on how to write it effectively. I encourage you to make comments or ask questions. Do you agree with what I write? Great. Disagree? That’s great too.
